Day 01 – Arrival in Muscat
Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman!
Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. (Vehicle collection is not required today, allowing you to relax after your flight.)
The remainder of the day is free to unwind or explore Muscat at your leisure. Take a stroll along the beautiful Muttrah Corniche, enjoy a traditional Omani dinner, or simply relax at your hotel.

Day 02 – Muscat City Tour | Vehicle Handover | Drive to Nizwa
After breakfast, your rental vehicle will be delivered to your hotel.
09:30 hrs – Vehicle Handover
Meet the rental representative, complete the documentation, receive your GPS/navigation details, and enjoy a short briefing on driving in Oman.
Begin exploring Muscat before heading inland.
Recommended visits include:
- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
- Royal Opera House Muscat
- Muttrah Corniche
- Muttrah Souq
- Al Alam Palace
After lunch, begin your scenic drive (approximately 2½ hours) towards Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman.
Upon arrival, visit:
- Nizwa Fort
- Traditional Nizwa Souq
Enjoy the evening exploring the charming old town.
Driving Distance: Approx. 170 km

Day 03 – Nizwa – Jebel Akhdar
After breakfast, continue exploring Oman’s cultural heartland.
Recommended route:
- Jabreen Castle
- Bahla Fort (photo stop)
- Birkat Al Mouz Oasis
At Birkat Al Mouz, switch to low gear and begin the spectacular mountain ascent to Jebel Akhdar (4WD vehicle required).
Visit:
- Diana’s Point
- Rose terraces (seasonal)
- Mountain villages
- Panoramic viewpoints
Relax at your mountain resort surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Driving Distance: Approx. 130 km
Overnight: Jebel Akhdar

Day 04 – Jebel Akhdar – Wahiba Sands
Descend from the mountains and drive towards the spectacular Sharqiyah Sands.
En route, stop at:
- Wadi Bani Khalid
Take time to swim in the crystal-clear pools before continuing to Wahiba Sands.
Leave your vehicle at the meeting point where a desert camp driver will transfer you by 4WD into the dunes.
Enjoy:
- Sunset over the dunes
- Camel ride
- Traditional Bedouin dinner
- Stargazing

Day 05 – Wahiba Sands – Sur – Wadi Shab – Muscat
After breakfast, return by 4WD to collect your rental vehicle.
Drive along Oman’s magnificent eastern coastline.

- Sur Dhow Shipyard
- Ras Al Hadd (optional)
- Bimmah Sinkhole
- Wadi Shab
Enjoy a scenic hike through Wadi Shab before continuing to Muscat.
Arrive in the evening.
